I also have the same problem, but I’m not sure if the problem only occurs when I whip the icing some before I use it or if it happens when I used the icing right out of the pail.

Contact Rich’s or send them an email; they will be able to let you know what distributors they have in your area.

Hi Jennifer, check your local Sam’s Club. They carry Vanilla, Chocolate and a case of colors. Have fun decorating!

Has anyone else had a problem with the Bettercreme where the airbrushing seems to fade on the cake? Is there something that can be used when airbrushing to prevent this from happening? I have a Tinkerbell cake that the customer wants the Bettercreme, but it requires airbrushing and I’m afraid that it will fade before [...]
I have that problem if you airbrush the cake too far in advance it does tend to fade after about 8 hours. All I do is is make my colors a little darker to anticipate the fade.
I worked with air brushing and Bettercreme in two different stores over a period of 25 years…. and every cake I ever air brushed began to fade after a short time. The best advice is to keep it as cold as possible… even freeze it if you have to.

I worked at a grocery store for 16 years and loved it, so I think it is worth giving it a go!

Cowboy hat smash cake for my great-nephew’s first birthday. I’m new to carving, only basic shapes like easy purses before, and the hat came out so great. I also did a solid chocolate cowboy boot and bandanna prints with my edible printer and frosting sheets. I’ve only been into cake decorating for about a year, [...]

When I picked up my cake this morning the decorator at the store had written a personal note under the cake board (on the box) that said “Enjoy your special day! Thank you, Michelle”. I thought this was a really great personal touch! Does anyone else do something similar? I’ve never seen this before!
